How do I choose between HIMARI 日葵 and SORA 宙?

HIMARI is approx. 10 cm thick with a firm support core; SORA is approx. 12 cm thick with 50% wool in its comfort filling. Compare thickness, feel, dimensions and everyday use.

HIMARI or SORA? Compare their 210 and 200 cm lengths, cushioning, wool-blend filling and available widths for your home in Guernsey. HIMARI's nominal 210 cm length differs from SORA's 200 cm. The approximately 10 cm and 12 cm lofts describe the new models, not a rule that the thicker one will suit you better.

Does the supporting area fit the model?

Measure inside any raised edges of a frame or platform. A familiar bed-size name does not settle the fit. If you want a 120 cm width, check the current HIMARI offering for Guernsey rather than assuming SORA comes in the same widths.

How would you describe the feel you want?

A firmer surface and fuller cushioning are different choices, even when both are called Japanese futons. Consider the difference in the table below alongside your present bedding. The filling percentages concern the comfort layers, not the whole mattress. Use the local product pages for current availability.
