Getting the workshop’s capacity right
I serve as leader of the logistics team and am responsible for the workshop’s production planning. Concretely — factory production scheduling, raw-material ordering, product inspection, packing and shipping all fall within my work. This is the “nerve centre” of the whole supply chain, from raw material to customer.
The standard of “never running out of stock”
What I care about most in scheduling is that goods never run out. From the moment a customer orders a shikibuton to its arrival, every stretch of time carries expectation. If something goes wrong at my link, the effort of the five preceding processes is discounted. So I watch the safe stock level, the lead time of raw materials, the tempo of production batches — so that “when the customer hopes it arrives” is “when it can.”
Studying for the bedding-adviser qualification
I am also preparing for the Certified Sleep & Bedding Advisor examination. Studying it is not just for a certificate — it is because a person who plans production should understand what the products they schedule are actually solving. Having learned the relationship between bedding and sleep, my priority judgements in scheduling look different.

I believe in the workshop’s products. I have watched every link of a shikibuton, from raw-cotton handling to finished product — so recommending it to a customer comes from the heart. I look forward to more customers feeling this care once they use one.
