Shipping to South Korea
Dispatched from Japan by Japan Post EMS within 2 business days of your order. Delivery usually takes 7–10 business days after dispatch. That is Japan Post's standard for this destination, counted from dispatch rather than from your order; it is an estimate, not a guaranteed date, and customs clearance can add to it.
Shipping to South Korea is included in the price. Any import duties or taxes charged on arrival are paid by the recipient. If you pay import duties or taxes, we reimburse the amount actually paid, up to US$20 per order, as a partial refund to your original payment method. Email proof of payment of the customs or carrier tax invoice and your order number to info@ofutonkobo.com within 60 days of delivery. Any remaining duties or taxes and customs clearance fees are payable by you.
Returns
You may cancel your order within 7 days of receiving it. Opening the outer packaging to check the product does not remove this right. Tell us by email at info@ofutonkobo.com.
For a change-of-mind return, the cost of returning the item to Japan is paid by you.
As marked on the product packaging, a return may be refused where use (for example, sleeping on the shikibuton or soiling it) has clearly reduced its value.
We refund you within 3 business days of receiving the returned item.
If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, we cover the return shipping and put it right with a replacement or refund.
Each shikibuton is compressed and shipped in hygiene-sealed packaging. Please check the size and the visible condition of the package before opening it, and keep the outer carton until you are sure you will keep the product.
